というか、痛い！ しびれるようなピリピリした感じに。。。。
なんてもの食べさせるんだ？！と思ったら、これはマオリの人達が歯痛のときにこの葉っぱを噛んだんだそうです。ってか、本当に麻酔みたいな・・・

Tree TUTU
トゥトゥ という木の実は、おいしいジュースがとれますが、
果汁以外は全て毒を持ち、１粒の種で痙攣、死に至らしめるほど、
オソロシイですね。。。
Except for juice of fruits, this plant has very strong bane (1 seeds inside of fruits also make us dead,be careful ! !)
切り株とかそういうのいちいち好きですね。。。
もちろん木々は動けませんが足跡みたいだからでしょうか。
切り株も朽ちた木も、この後さまざまな生き物を宿すからでしょうかね。
I prefer stub,

They had no rainfall last 1 week.

NZではかなりたくさんのシダが見られるんだそうです。
町に戻ったときに郵便局で２月号の記念切手としてシダシリーズが売っていたので記念に買いました（笑）

I did not know that, but so many species are living in New Zealand.
I bought stamp at post office, because the design were Ferns.

動物に食べられにくいように進化したともいわれているらしいです。

森を出ると川沿いの開けた空間に戻ります。
We can see nice view outside of forest.
ポートレート写真は全く撮れませんが、
緑の中にカラフルなウェアが映えて綺麗だったのでパシャリ。
明日はこの吊橋を渡ってクリントン側沿いを歩いて行きます。７２メートルあります。
１９７８年（私の生まれた年じゃないか）に洪水で流されて新しく取り替えられたんだそう。

ものすごく透き通ってます。
Clear water.
ミルフォードはものすごく雨が多くて水が綺麗なので小川から水をくむことができます。
Thanks to the lot of rainfalls and mountains of the Milford, we do not have to worry about water because we can lift water from the stream.
